Cycling to Arco!
Just 4 km away from Riva del Garda there is the town of Arco which at the end of the 19th century became an important winter resort for the Central European nobility,
thanks to the presence of Archduke Albert of Habsburg, cousin of the emperor Francesco Giuseppe and above all for the typically Mediterranean and temperate climate.
You can leave from the hotel and start pedaling with comfortable e-city bikes towards Torbole. This is the most beautiful stretch of the cycle path: it runs along the lake and you can admire breathtaking views, with Mount Baldo on the left, while, on the right, the Ponale road and the town of Tremosine. In this section, the cycle path runs along the beach and then leaves it a little further on near Mount Brione, where you continue along the road.
At this point you reach the bridge over the Sarca river: here is the junction that leads to the Valle dei Laghi and Arco. The landscape along the Sarca river is green, made up of river rapids and woods, with the massive castle of Arco in the background. After four kilometers you will reach Arco center.
Leave the e-bike and walk up to the Castle to enjoy a breathtaking view and its history!
